Half Marathon and Marathon Planning
Before I leave:
- Don't eat within 3 hours of the start. Ok to sip water.
- Shirt, shorts, socks, shoes
- Sweatshirt for the drive?
- Bathroom
- Eat a Gel (Hammer or Gu) with caffeine, 5-10 before the start.
Bring:
- Ice chest
- Sports drink - Gookinaid Hydralyte or GU2O or Hammer Endurolyte
- Sports drink with protein - Hammer Sustained Energy
- Sports gel - Hammer or GU
- chapstick
- Fuel belt
- UnderArmour for cold weather?
- Hat
- Sunscreen

- sunglasses
- Food, water for after

- HR monitor
